What will my job involve?

Most people at Ashcroft work in direct support of adults with learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviour.

People in support roles undertake a very wide range of tasks. Some people we support have severe learning disabilities, and need assistance with all aspects of daily living, including personal care. Others are able to access the community independently and need support more in the nature of coaching and counselling.

The main support roles are as follows:

  • Supported Living Service Co-ordinator
  • Supported Living Community Support Worker
  • Supported Living Support Worker
  • Supported Living Night Support Worker
  • Residential Manager
  • Residential Deputy Manager
  • Residential Senior Support Worker
  • Residential Support Worker
  • Residential Night Support Worker

In addition, roles exist in teams which support our front-line services:

  • Behavioural Management Team
  • Human Resources Team
  • Quality Management and Administration Team
  • Finance Team
  • Facilities Management Team
